One of several sweet chestnut trees, growing in a group on the Ashburnham Estate in East Sussex. My wife, Mollie, first spotted the trees and took me to see them. Mollies family is from nearby and these tree reminded her of her close connection to her sisters and so they were given the title ‘The Sussex Sisters’
